Lets you copy information from defective CD/DVDs that is still not damaged or corrupted.

You can imagine it can't you? You have a CD of some music, a live concert, your child singing, etc that is absolutely irreplaceable. Or a DVD of your birthday, a wedding, an anniversary or a movie you love. Then the disc gets damaged in some way. Disaster? Not necessarily. And although CD or DVD that is defective won't play anymore in your computer or home player, it can still be saved, or at least some of the information stored on it can. And for that you need specialized software like this program, called VCS Copy Cat 2.0. As you might be able to gather by now, VCS Copy Cat 2.0 is a straightforward piece of software that tries to rescue data from damaged or corrupted discs.

What VCS Copy Cat 2.0 does is read the disc and if it finds damaged or corrupted sectors it skips them, thus allowing you to copy all savable sectors.

VCS Copy Cat 2.0 can copy your oldest CDs and DVDs, and tries to copy damaged parts byte by byte. You can also choose, as mentioned above, to skip those bytes if necessary. It works very quickly and, unlike Windows, continues even when it finds bad sectors.

So there you have it. If you refuse to give up on any old favourite CDs or DVDs that contain irreplaceable content, then you need a program like this VCS Copy Cat 2.0. And best of all is that you can download it for free! What are you waiting for?
